I believe this is called “Grasping at Straws”
What is that sad, desperate noise that you hear? That is the death rattle of the McCain Campaign. Like a frightened animal caught in a trap they have begun to scream out. Its nice to see that they have decided to end the campaign in the spirit of which it was run, with more pitiful attempts to look for some golden arrow to strike down their opponent.
Shouldn’t that say something to American voters? That in their final hour they still cannot stand solely on their own platform. While Obama decided to use this time to return to the essence of his message, of hope and a new direction the McCain campaign is digging through old voice records to add fuel to their “socialism” fire.
McCain looks desperate, not presidential, and in my view even more like George W. Bush.
